Ginny & Georgia is a Netflix comedy-drama series following 30-year-old Georgia Miller and her children, Ginny and Austin, as they settle into a New England town for a fresh start. It focuses on the complex, tight-knit relationship between a free-spirited, protective mother with a dark, criminal past and her cynical, coming-of-age daughter.
Motion graphics played a key element in this series, with a lot of drama unfolding on the phones of teenagers. We worked closely with the creative team to create realistic interfaces for all phones and laptops. We recreated both iOS and fictional phone calls, messaging, social media, and websites. We built custom, highly detailed interactive apps and delivered graphics to both on-set and the post production team.
